Phase 1
  • Kill Ashtongue Channelers and Ashtongue Sorcerers as quickly as possible.
  • Have 1 Tank pick up Ashtongue Defenders, and the other tanks pick up Ashtongue Spiritbinders, Ashtongue Rogues, and Ashtongue Elementalists that spawn at each doorway.
  • Hunters and Mages should use
    Frost Trap
    and
    Frost Nova
    so the Tanks can kite the adds. DPS ignore these adds.
  • Once Shade of Akama reaches Akama, Phase 2 begins.
Phase 2
  • You have exactly 1 minute to kill Shade of Akama before it kills Akama.
  • Save all cooldowns for this phase.
Notes
  • The Ashtongue Spiritbinders, Ashtongue Rogues, and Ashtongue Elementalists can all be Crowd Controlled if your Tanks need help.
Teron Gorefiend
Summary
  • Every 30 seconds, a player will be inflicted by
    Shadow of Death
    .
  • Once the debuff reaches about 20 seconds, run to the corner of the room far away from the rest of the raid.
  • Once the debuff runs out, you will turn into a Vengeful Spirit and you will need to kill Shadowy Constructs that spawned.
  • You will gain acess to new abilities when you are turned into a Vengeful Spirit that will help you kill the Shadowy Constructs.
  • Spirit Lance
    for single target,
    Spirit Chains
    for AoE CC, and
    Spirit Volley
    for AoE Damage.
  • Healers cleanse the DoT caused by
    Incinerate
    and also watch out for raid damage caused by
    Shadow Bolt

  • Run away from the raid when you are targeted by
    Parasitic Shadowfiend

Phase 2
  • Starts at 65% health.
  • Illidan will fly into the air and throw his glaives on the ground, spawning 2 Flames of Azzinoth.
  • Have 2 Fire Resistance Tanks pick up the Flames of Azzinoth, and face them away from the raid because of their
    Flame Blast
    ability.
  • The Flames of Azzinoth need to stay close to the glaives on the ground or else they will become buffed with
    Uncaged Wrath
    .
  • Avoid
    Blaze
    casted by Flames of Azzinoth and
    Fireball
    casted by Illidan.
  • Healers must watch out for players who are targeted by
    Dark Barrage
    .
Phase 3
  • Begins when both Flames of Azzinoth are killed.
  • Lasts for about 50 seconds, then will transition into Phase 4. These Phases will alternate until Illidan reaches 30% health.
  • This Phase has the same abilities as Phase 1, plus a new ability called
    Agonizing Flames
    .
  • Spread out to mitigate damage from
    Agonizing Flames
    .
Phase 4
  • Lasts for 60 seconds.
  • Illidan will turn into his
    Demon Form
    .
  • Have a Warlock with Shadow Resistance pick up Illidan.
  • No Melee can go near him because of
    Aura of Dread
    .
  • Everyone must stay at least 20 yds away from the Warlock tank because of
    Shadow Blast
    .
  • Spread out to avoid extra damage from
    Flame Burst
    .
  • Kill Shadow Demons as soon quickly as possible. They will stun whoever they are fixated on, and will kill them if they reach the player.
Phase 5
  • Begins once Illidan reaches 30% health.
  • This Phase is the same as Phase 3 except Illidan gains access to
    Frenzy
    .
  • Illidan will still transform into his
    Demon Form
    .
  • Just like how Phase 3 and Phase 4 alternated, the same thing will happen with Phase 5 and Phase 4.
  • Tanks must pop defensive cooldowns when Illidan uses
    Frenzy
    .
  • Maeiv Shadowsong will also be helping out this phase, and she will randomly place a Cage Trap on the ground twice per Phase.
  • If Illidan is taken to the trap, he will take 100% increased damage and will be stunned for 15 seconds.
  • You must be careful if you are going to use the Cage Traps because moving Illidan can be risky with all of the stuff that is happening throughout the raid.
  • If you do use a Cage Trap, Phase 4 will begin immediately after.
Notes
  • Hunters can use
    Frost Trap
    and Mages can use
    Frost Nova
    in Phase 1 to help deal with the
    Parasitic Shadowfiend
    spawns.
  • Illidan will reset threat between Phase shifts, Hunters can use
    Misdirection
    to help with the transitions.
