NalorakkNalorakk
Troll Form
  • Troll Form lasts for 45 seconds.
  • Tanks must
    Taunt
Naloroakk as quickly as possible from the other Tank when he switches to Bear Form because of
    Mangle
    .
  • Both Tanks stand in front of Naloroakk during Troll Form to split damage from
    Brutal Swipe
    .
  • Nalorakk will use
    Surge
on the furthest target and knock down nearby targets. Have your furthest person away from the rest of the Ranged DPS and Healers.
Bear Form
  • Bear Form lasts for 30 seconds.
  • Nalorakk will cast
    Deafening Roar
. Healers make sure to have HoTs rolling.
  • Tanks must
    Taunt
Naloroakk as quickly as possible from the other Tank when he switches back to Troll Form because of
    Lacerating Slash
    and
    Rend Flesh
    .
Notes
  • Nalorakk does not drop aggro when switching forms.
  • Dwarf Tanks can use
    Stoneform
to remove bleed effects during Bear Form.

Jan'alai
Summary
  • Spread out to avoid multiple players being hit by
    Flame Breath
    .
  • Jan'alai will teleport the entire raid to him and cast
    Fire Bombs
. Find a safe spot before they explode.
  • Jan'alai will summon Amani'shi Hatchers which will hatch the eggs on each side of the room if they reach them.
  • Kill one of the Amani'shi Hatchers, and let the other one hatch the eggs. Kill the Amani Dragonhawks with AoE.
  • At 35% health Jan'alai will hatch all the remaining eggs, which is why it's important to not kill both of the Amani'shi Hatchers.
  • At 20% health Jan'alai will
    Enrage
    .
Notes
  • Amani Dragonhawks can be Crowd Controlled.
  • Paladins and Shamans can use

    Fire Resistance Totem
    to help mitigate raid damage.

    Transfigure
    .

    Taunt
the Spirit Lynx as soon as the phase starts.
  • Kill Corrupted Lightning Totem as quickly as possible.
  • Halazzi won't cast
    Saber Lash
during this Phase, but will cast
    Flame Shock
    and
    Earth Shock
    .
  • Healers dispel
    Flame Shock
    DoT.
  • This Phase ends whenever Halazzi or the Spirit Lynx reaches 20% health.

    .

Summary
  • There are multiple ways to do this boss. If you have enough DPS and the coordination, you can AoE down the adds with the boss, or you can CC all the adds while you kill the boss, or you can kill the adds first, then move on to the boss.
  • If you decide to kill the adds, make sure to do it before Hex Lord Malacrass reaches 80% health, because his
    Soul Drain
will start to give him a stackable buff which increases his damage by 10%, and reducing all player damage and healing by 1%.
