Wrath Classic (WOTLK) Dungeon Leveling Guide
This guide is intended for players aiming to level to 80 through Dungeons. It is based on the leveling video by Joardee.
If you prefer to level via questing, we recommend RestedXP's WOTLK Leveling Guide (affiliate link).
If Alliance, take the far right boat from Stormwind to Borean Tundra.
If Horde, take the zeppelin in front of the gates of Orgrimmar to Borean Tundra.
Travel to Amber Ledge and talk to Surristrasz. Fly to Coldarra.
Accept the following quests:
- Reading the Meters from Archmage Berinand.
- Secrets of the Ancients from Archmage Berinand.
- Have They No Shame? from Librarian Serrah.
- Keristrasza from Keristrasza.
Complete Reading the Meters and Secrets of the Ancients.
If you think your group will reach the dungeon per hour cap, you can do these when you're waiting to enter the dungeon again.
Accept Postponing the Inevitable and Quickening from Archmage Berinand.
Run The Nexus from level 70 to 73.
If you're locked out of runs, you can turn in the dungeon quests you have completed. You can also complete the quest chain that starts with Keristrasza and ends with Prisoner of War for another Nexus quest.
Travel to Azjol Nerub in Dragonblight. Make sure you have turned in your completed Nexus quests.
Accept the following quests from Kilix the Unraveler:
- Death to the Traitor King
- Don't Forget the Eggs!
- The Faceless Ones
Run Azjol Nerub once to complete Death to the Traitor King and Don't Forget the Eggs!.
Run Ahn'Kahet: The Old Kingdom from level 73 to 77.
Make sure to accept and complete a quest called Funky Fungi which starts inside the dungeon from looting mobs.
If you're locked out of runs, you can turn in the dungeon quests you have completed. You can also travel to the Amphitheater of Anguish in Zul'drak after level 75 to complete the Ring of Blood style quests that starts with The Amphitheater of Anguish: Yggdras! from Gurgthock.
Run Halls of Lightning from level 77 to 80.
