before the damage occurs will be essential to perform at optimal levels. Discipline Priests also have important cooldowns they bring to the raid. They have
Pain Suppression
to help Tanks survive through high damage phases of a fight,
Divine Hymn
which is a powerful 3 person channeled heal,
Hymn of Hope
which restores mana to 3 raid members, and
Power Infusion
which is a flexible offensive cooldown that you can use on healers or DPS.

   on as many targets as possible if large raid damage is coming.

   on the tank if assigned and needed.
